Who we are?
Easy Birding Peru was founded in 2010 by a naturalist guide, who grew up in the rainforest Abraham Félix Huamán Leon.
We offer quality tours in small groups or tailored tours. Our main focus is on wildlife observation and our main concern is rainforest conservation.
Our team of qualified and experienced, professional guides is the key to an exciting, rewarding and safe rainforest experience!
We work with recomended lodges in Manu and operate all tours in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

What we Offer
We have in our staff 35 years of experience organizing reliable and quality Manu tours. EBP is authorized to operate tours to the Manu National Park (Reserved Zone).
We offer groups of maximum 10 visitors per guide and itineraries designed to maximize your chances to see animals.
Easy Birding Peru has a team of experienced & enthusiastic, professional guides. They have more than 35 years of guiding experience in Manu and have done conservation works in Manu. Our guides all speak fluent English and are equipped with powerful spotting scopes and animal identification books on the tours. Our guides will go out of their way to show you the marvels of the rainforest; they will explain this highly biodiverse rainforest to you and give you comprehensive information about the flora and fauna of Manu. An excellent guide is essential to a rewarding rainforest experience!
We use autorized vehicles, boats and lodges for our tours. Lodges are located at strategic points in Manu, with each place offering a different kind of forest and plenty of trails to explore.
This is a great advantage for successful wildlife observation. The best lodges we know along the famous Manu Road are Huayquecha Cloud Forest Reserch Station, Cock of the Rock Lodge, Bambu Lodge, Amazonia Lodge has 350 ha of primary forest and is situated between the Andes foothills and the lowland rain forest with great biodiversity (600 bird species) Also a Tapir clay Lick with a observation platform. On the Manu lowland The Hummingbird lodge, Matsiguenka Lodge, Manu Birding lodge, Manu Wildlife Center and Tambo Blanquillo Private Reserve has its own Macaw and parrot clay lick & observation platform.
EBP operates all tours in an environmentally friendly way. We buy local products, and avoid packaging where ever possible. For us, working in Manu also means to work with local people, our boatmen and lodge staff are from Manu. Our groups stay at Matsiguenka lodge also known as Albergue ‘Casa Matsiguenka’ inside the Turistic Zone of Manu National Park, (it use to be called reserved zone) a typical lodge run by the Matsiguenka Indigenous people, to support their communities.
Our Office in Cusco
Our office is situated in the San Sebastian neighbourhood of Cusco, APV Piedra Dorada Mz E-3 Alto Qosqo San Sebastian Cusco. It is 30 minutes in a private car from the Cusco main square (Plaza de Armas). This office is our property so you can always find us here,
If in Cusco you are welcome to visit us from Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 13:00 pm and 15 to 19 pm. Our office is closed on Sundays.

Founder and current owner of Easy Birding Peru:
Abraham F. Huamán León, born 1966 in Ayacucho Perú, In Cusco and Manu since 1984, worked in conservation proyects in Cocha Cashu Biological Station in the Manu National Park, since 1987 worked as a guide in the first lodge in Manu ( Manu Lodge) since 1989 we started protecting and buillding a lodge close to the Blanquillo Macaw clay lick, in 1993 we sold this business. Since then worked as a tour guide for different tour companies, also started a tour company called Amazon Trails Peru with a German lady from the year 2002 until 2009. Always worked in the rainforest in sustainable development with local communities; Actually Manager of EBP.
